A volume from the series "Soldiers, Weapons & Uniforms". After the two books on the uniforms of the M.V.S.N., here follows a work on the history and uniforms of the Italian National Fascist Party (PNF). How did it function, how was it organised, how was it financed and who or what were the men and uniforms of the party that ruled Italy for 20 years? This volume aims to provide exhaustive and definitive answers to these and many other questions.
But why a book on the PNF? For two simple reasons. The first reason is that such a book does not exist in the Italian and international publishing scene. In fact, there are only two volumes on the PNF, those by Gambino and Lazzero, both incomplete and out of date. Secondly, the twenty-year period of fascism was an event of recent history, of an Italy that seems distant but that still helps to influence the present.
