The preserved ruins of the Abusina fort of Eining on the Danube are one of the most traditional Roman sites in Bavaria - research has been carried out here for over 500 years. In the course of its eventful history, the fort was repeatedly altered. The mixture of older and younger stone construction phases from five centuries is explained in detail in this guide and supplemented with practical information for visiting the site as well as museum tips.
Since 2011, the fort grounds have been given a new lease of life. It now offers appropriate explanations with reconstruction drawings at important points with "time windows", some of which are acoustically supported.
