With its pointed nose and inconspicuous silhouette, the VBL Panhard is easily recognisable and is the smallest combat vehicle in the French army. Weighing 4 tonnes and lightly armed, the VBL does not appear particularly impressive at first glance. Nevertheless, its arrival on the battlefield is never insignificant.
