Description
44 BC, the assassination of Julius Caesar brought down the Roman Republic in a fourteen-year civil war. In one of the final confrontations, Octavian's naval forces face off against those of Marc-Anton allied with Cleopatra. In terms of numbers, the combined forces of Marc-Anton and Cleopatra outnumber those of the arrogant Octavian. But appearances are sometimes deceptive. Marc-Anton's army was tired from war and demoralised by a long hibernation. At the time of the confrontation, it was plagued by discord. The battle he leads his men to will determine the future of all much more than the outcome of a simple naval battle.
