Bronco Mould & Plastic Co., Ltd has its own development department, which, together with technicians, product designers and CAD/CAM engineers, develops and manufactures its own injection moulding tools or moulds for the production of specially developed models.
Bronco Models the history of the model manufacturer
The Chinese company Bronco Mould & Plastic Co., Ltd. was founded in November 2004. The company is based in the city of Ningbo in Zhejiang province. The city is located on the East China Sea, opposite Shanghai, and is considered a centre of the plastics industry. An incredible 13,000 companies in the plastics industry are based in the city. There are toolmakers and mechanical engineering companies and, of course, a large number of injection moulding companies.
The company develops its own injection moulding toolkits and also manufactures these injection moulding tools itself. The moulds are necessary for the production of the model kits. Bronco Models has focused its model kit product range on the military theme. Bronco model kits are exported to both Europe and the USA.
Bronco Models model kit range
Bronco Models specialises in military models. This is what distinguishes the product range from those of other well-known manufacturers such as Tamiya, Revell or Italeri. The model range includes model kits of tanks, aircraft and ships. The range is completed by artillery model kits, figures and accessories such as tank tracks. Most of the products are offered in 1:35 scale, but the Bronco Model range also includes model kits in 1:350, 1:200 and 1:48 scales. All Bronco model kits are characterised by a very high quality and attention to detail. Bronco Models' range regularly surprises with unusual and interesting models that fulfil many a wish, especially for ambitious model builders.
Bronco Models - 1:35
The range includes many well-known military vehicles, but also rarer models such as the Hungarian Turan I Medium Tank 40.M.
Bronco Models 1:48
Military aircraft such as the Chia seaplane from 1919 are also offered in the 1:48 scale.
Bronco Models 1:200
The smaller 1:200 scale is mainly used for model ships. Bronco Models' cruiser Ping Yuen of the Imperial Chinese Navy is an extraordinary model that cannot be found in the product range of other manufacturers.
Bronco Models 1:350
In addition to a selection of military ships and submarines, Bronco also offers model kits of aircraft, helicopters and military vehicles in 1:350 scale. These small models of military vehicles, helicopters and aircraft also include many extraordinary models that other manufacturers do not have in their range.
