After the end of World War 2 the British Army of the Rhine (BAOR) was one of the main pillars of the NATO defence doctrine on West German soil. This publication covers the history, organisation and motor pool of the BAOR from 1945 to 1979 in phantastic and hitherto unpublished colour photographs.
