The Indochina War is a complex and evolving conflict that has its roots in French colonisation and ended in a certain degree of globalisation during the Cold War. Geopolitical, cultural and ethnic developments enabled the creation of a very diverse arsenal of weapons. However, this arsenal was well organised, both over time and between the various warring parties. This work aims to clarify the subject by presenting, wave after wave, the introduction of various weapons both within the French expeditionary corps and in the armies of the allied states (Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia) and in the Viet Minh troops. Based on archives consulted at the Service Historique de la Défense, this work provides an overview of these weapons, ranging from daggers to 120 mm mortars.
