The monumental equestrian statue of Frederick the Great, also called the "Old Fritz" for short by Berliners, commemorates King Frederick II of Prussia. the monument stands in the historic centre of Berlin at the end of the Lindenforum on the central reservation of the Unter den Linden boulevard.
