The monumental equestrian statue of Frederick the Great, also known by Berliners as "Old Fritz" for short, commemorates King Frederick II of Prussia. The monument stands in the historic centre of Berlin at the end of the Lindenforum on the central strip of the boulevard Unter den Linden. Christian Daniel Rauch's major work is one of the most important sculptures of the 19th century and marks the transition to realistic representation in sculpture. -Wikipedia- Single-sided engraving, height: approx. 11 cm, width: approx. 7 cm
