This publication describes the events surrounding the naval battle of Sinope on November 30, 1853, in the form of a 56-page comic book with detailed illustrations and a story by Jean-Yves Delittle. The last eight pages consist of a historical dossier on the naval battle, containing the most important facts. The question of naval supremacy has always been crucial in human history. As symbols of scientific and military greatness, it was all too often the war fleets that tipped the scales in the great conflicts of an era when the airplane had not yet been invented. Even today, names such as Trafalgar, Skagerrak, and Lepanto still resonate. Naval battles that, like so many other conflicts, have become legendary. As an expert on the subject, Jean-Yves Delitte invites readers to immerse themselves in the events surrounding the greatest naval battles in history, from antiquity to World War II. The series, created by maritime expert Jean-Yves Delitte (Black Crow, Neptune), is originally titled Les Grandes Batailles Navales. In no particular order, each album depicts the historical events of famous naval battles. Although unnumbered in the original, Finix Comics has assigned numbers to the individual works to emphasize the series character.
