This edition of the Italian Aviation Series focuses on the G.222, the last large aircraft designed and built entirely in Italy and the last project to bear the signature of engineer Giuseppe Gabrielli, which for many years formed the backbone of the Italian Air Force's transport aircraft fleet. The G.222 was developed in the 1960s, a period of great technological innovation, and enjoyed great commercial success, including in export markets. The centre pages contain six profiles, each with precise drawings and details. This is followed by a chapter with model-building instructions, complete with photos of the model, both assembled and finished, tables with technical data, numerous photos, a cross-section of the engines and reproductions of various documents.
