This work is dedicated to the origins, development and deployment of the legendary Tornado, one of the most successful products of the European military industry. Its origins date back to 1968, when representatives of the air forces of Germany, Italy, England, Canada, the Netherlands and Belgium signed a preliminary agreement to investigate and develop a multi-role combat aircraft capable of performing both attack and reconnaissance tasks. The publication is comprehensively illustrated with photos and colour plates showing the various profiles, decorations and insignia of the numerous flight groups, as well as technical details such as instrumentation and engine cross-sections. A chapter for model builders is also included.
