The ZIL-130 truck became one of the most popular cars in the history of the Russian automobile industry. The first five trucks were built in 1962, and mass production continued at the Moscow plant from 1963 to 1994. During this time, over 3.3 million cars were produced. The truck was equipped with an 8-cylinder carburetor V-shaped engine with a capacity of 150 hp., power steering and a three-seater cabin. The car was widely used in the national economy and in the army.In the process of modernisation on the ZIL-130-76 modification (produced since 1977) the chassis life was brought up to 300 thousand km, and payload was raised to 6 tonnes. In 1978, the machine received a new radiator grille and a number of other exterior changes, and since 1980, three lights are installed on the cab.The ZIL-130 was produced in this form until 1983.
