Plastic model kit of a Soviet military truck with 367 parts.
Length built 162 mm. Decals for the Soviet and Russian armies and the
UNO.
The GAZ-66 Soviet all-wheel drive truck was developed by engineers at the Gorky Automobile Plant for the needs of the Soviet army and the domestic market.
domestic market. The first lorries were assembled in 1964. People called this car "Shishiga". The GAZ-66 can carry up to 2 tonnes of cargo in difficult road conditions. The maximum speed on the motorway
is 90 km/h. Good cross-country ability is achieved due to the uniform load on the axles, adjustable tyre pressure and the use of cam differentials on the front and rear axles, as well as high ground clearance. The truck was repeatedly modernised during operation. The GAZ- 66-11 modification went into production in 1985. The vehicle was equipped with a central tyre pressure control system and modern lighting systems. In 1993, a new universal loading platform without wheel arches with increased internal dimensions was installed. This latest version of the "Shishiga" is shown in our model.
