ASFINAG was founded in 1982 and is a company of the Austrian federal government. Its responsibilities include planning, financing, building, maintaining, operating and tolling 2,265 kilometers of motorways and expressways. The "ASFINAG system" is considered a best practice example throughout Europe, because ASFINAG finances all expenses from its own resources without subsidies from the state budget. The VW T6.1 is used for the electrical engineering. The roof structure shown in the picture is included with the model.
