Since 2015, the Bundeswehr has gradually been receiving a total of 350 units of the newly developed Puma infantry fighting vehicle. The most expensive infantry fighting vehicle in the world to date, with a unit price of 8.85 million euros, appears at Herpa in protection level "C". The 1:87 scale model is thus fitted with the modular additional armour, which, for example, provides additional protection for the turret or the sides as well as the roof against anti-tank hand and medium calibre weapons. Additional side skirts cover the running gear up to the middle of the wheels.
