After several setbacks and program delays, primarily due to the deployment of the then-brand-new Europrop TP400 engine, the most powerful single-propeller turboprop engine, the first A400M Atlas transports were delivered to the first air forces at the end of 2013. To celebrate the tenth anniversary, the 1st Squadron of the 61st Wing at Orleans-Bricy applied a special livery to the massive tail section of one of its transports and added the emblems of the units operating the A400M within the French Air Force or supporting its seamless operation.
