Volume 7 of the "Luftwaffe Gallery" series. When German Luftwaffe caricaturists took up the theme of "Against Britain", they were able to really let off steam and pulled out all the stops, which some claim was at odds with the alleged frugality of unit equipment and personal decoration of Luftwaffe aircraft. Remarkably, there were genuine artists in the ranks of each unit, but the expression of this artistry increasingly disappeared as losses of aircraft and personnel mounted. While the air war between the RAF and Luftwaffe appeared chivalrous at first, it quickly turned merciless and even ugly as German Jabos attacked civilian infrastructure and vehicles to terrorise the British population. As the night fighting mainly involved British crews battling their German counterparts over their homeland, the authors take this opportunity to present the sequel to the article published in the previous issue, which focussed on daytime attacks. There is so much to say and reveal on this subject that they were forced to opt for the 96-page format previously reserved for special issues.
