Heinrich Rudolf Zille (1858 - 1929) was a German graphic artist, painter and photographer. In his art, Zille, known as "Pinselheinrich", favoured themes from Berlin folk life, which he depicted in a manner that was as much local patriotic as socially critical. Height 7.5 cm. Berlin original.
Rudolf Heinrich Zille (10 January 1858 9 August 1929) was a German illustrator, caricaturist, lithographer and photographer. Zille became best known for his (often funny) drawings, catching the characteristics of people, especially "stereotypes", mainly from Berlin and many of them published in the German weekly satirical newspaper Simplicissimus.
