Addition curing 2-component silicone rubber that vulcanises at room temperature (RTV).
You will receive the silicone in high quality plastic squeeze bottles with a dispensing cap. This makes removal very easy and clean. Exact dosing is effortless, as you know it from comparable food packaging and is a clear improvement on the otherwise usual tinplate cans or wide-neck bottles.
Properties and application: - easy processing - trouble-free mixing of components 1:1 by weight - very good flowability, mixture is easy to pour - cross-linking to form resistant, rubber-elastic vulcanizate without heat of reaction - short-term temperature resistant up to 450 degrees Celsius - high tensile strength and high flexibility - very high detail reproduction - For the production of moulds for pouring with low-melting metals (tin, lead)

TFC Silicone Rubber Type 3 is very suitable for making heat resistant moulds (short term, at the time of pouring, no continuous temperature resistance) for pouring with low melting metals. At the same time, the moulds are elastic, hard-wearing and also suitable for the reproduction of undercuts.
TFC Silicone Rubber Type 3 can be used to produce single-part or multi-part moulds, for moulding original models made of wood, glass, metal, plastic, wax, ceramic casting compounds. You can cast in the moulds produced with all water-soluble casting materials such as relief casting compounds such as Stewalin, Plastalin Super, Keraflott or plaster, Keramin, Alabit, modelling and model building plaster, casting clay, cement, concrete, etc.
In addition, you can cast with low-melting metals. In this case, make sure that the mould is absolutely dry and treat the mould with talcum powder as a separating and flow agent before each pour. This will give you better casting results and protect the mould from burns.
The silicone has not been tested for skin and mucous membrane compatibility or for use in conjunction with food. If you are looking for silicones to use in conjunction with food or body moulding, please ask us.
