In this 11th volume of the series Veterans of the Waffen-SS Report, two veterans who were sent to the SS Junkerschule Prague for leadership training have their say. Eduard Krohn joined the SS Division Das Reich in 1939 at the age of 18. After suffering a serious injury that made it impossible for him to continue serving in the fighting forces, he was transferred to the medical service and appointed field surgeon towards the end of the war. Robert Beckmann joined the SS-Reiter-Regiment 3 at the Schieratz military training area in 1943 at the age of 18 and took part in the fighting around Kowel. This was followed by deployment to suppress the Slovak National Uprising in the SS Panzergrenadier Regiment Schill. At the end of the war, he was again a member of the SS Cavalry Training and Replacement Regiment.
