Canadian armoured reconnaissance cars played an important role in World War 2, especially in the fighting in Belgium, the Netherlands and northern Germany in 1944/45. The history and equipment of the Canadian armoured reconnaissance regiments ("Reconnaissance Regiments" and "Armoured Cars Regiments"), as well as other Canadian reconnaissance units, are the subject of this work.
