The "Eagle" IV, procured under the GFF Class 2 programme - Protected Command and Functional Vehicles - is already replacing numerous unprotected vehicles in the Bundeswehr in order to increase the safety of Bundeswehr soldiers on missions abroad. Thanks to its very high deployability, manoeuvrability and tactical mobility, the "Eagle" IV is the ideal vehicle for the entire spectrum of possible missions. Three basic variants have been introduced: 1. operational vehicle patrol security; 2. operational vehicle command personnel; 3. mobile medical squad. This volume describes in detail the development history, the technology, the variants, the construction lots and the various armament sets of the "Eagle" IV.
