This work is a detailed pictorial study of the soldiers of the German Wehrmacht based on photographs taken by the official war correspondents of the German propaganda companies. Full-page and in some cases double-page photographs show the everyday war life of the German tank destroyers on the Western Front in 1944, as well as their vehicles, uniforms and equipment. The detailed captions provide expert explanations of the individual photos. The photographs shown in this volume were taken by war correspondent Karl Kurth, and focus on the 1st Company, Panzerjägerabteilung 19 (L) of the 19th Luftwaffe Field Division.
