A very helpful work, especially for model builders, on the battleships of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the decades between 1913 and 1945. The first almost 30 pages present the armament of the capital ships in words and pictures with a view to their reproduction in the model. The remainder of the volume is devoted to the presentation of the various battleships as models, mainly waterline models on a scale of 1:700. Various kits, fittings and the reproduction of certain features of the various ships in the kit are shown.
