The publication describes the colours and markings of the Norwegian Air Force aircraft that were delivered in the period after the Second World War until the start of American arms assistance in 1949. These aircraft were in service until 1959. The book contains over 150 profile and plan drawings which, together with over 220 photos and other illustrations, show how the aircraft were painted and marked. The book is therefore a suitable reference work for the painting of museum and model aircraft for this period in the history of the Norwegian Air Force.
