The "Patrouille de France": a French aviation heritage that has endured for 70 years. The official aerobatic team of the French Aeronautics and Space Agency has been flying all over the world since 1953. This album illustrates the event highlights of this aerobatic team, which has flown over New York, the Great Wall of China and many other places. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the "Patrouille de France", Olivier Dauger, comic artist, illustrator and painter of aerospace, pays tribute to these thousands of men and women who, for almost a century, have written the most beautiful pages of a difficult and demanding discipline, aerobatics. Using illustrations, paintings and original posters, he traces the unique history of this famous acrobatic formation, which is still one of the best in the world today.
