A collection of documents from the military intelligence service, the most important Italian secret service organisation during the Second World War. The first part describes in detail the organisation and activities of the Servizio Informazioni Militare (SIM) in the years 1941-1943, while the second part contains information from the SIM on German sabotage methods and includes a comprehensive and detailed analysis of the German secret services and sabotage services in Italy in the years 1943-1944. These documents enable us to assess the operational capabilities of the SIM throughout the war, as well as the capabilities of the German organisations that became its counterpart after the surrender in 1943.
