The authentic colors were specially selected for the aircraft of the Condor Legion in the Spanish Civil War and for the camouflage of the Luftwaffe (1936-1941).

- 274 RLM 71 Dark green - shrapnel, two-tone camouflage paint for Luftwaffe aircraft in World War II

- 299 DKH L40/52 Gray - The standard paint scheme for Luftwaffe aircraft prior to 1938.
