Model kit of the legendary SR-71 Blackbird spy plane, which was famous for being able to reach speeds of up to Mach 3. The design of the Blackbird was derived from the Lockheed A12 - an aeroplane from a CIA project that was supposed to make it possible to fly safely over the Soviet Union. The Blackbird still holds a number of records today, including the absolute speed and altitude record. The SR-71B was a training version of the Blackbird and had a distinctive ""hump"". .
