Derived from the famous Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, the Jagdpanther proved superior to any Allied opponent in combat due to its successful combination of mobility, armour protection and firepower. The Jagdpanther with an 8.8 cm Pak 43/3 L/71 was produced from January 1944. Propulsion: 600 hp V 12-cylinder Maybach petrol engine, maximum speed: 55 km/h. Crew: 5 men.
