Item No. 6316 accurately depicts the Sd.Kfz.250/9 NEU, which was a reconnaissance halftrack armed with a 2cm KwK38 cannon and an MG34 or MG42 mounted in a small Hängelafette (swing mount) turret. In production from May 1943, this vehicle type replaced the wheeled Sd.Kfz.222.

Badged with the Premium Edition name, this upgraded kit features numerous bonus parts such as Magic Tracks, Gen2 soldier equipment and weapons to fill the vehicle interior, as well as metal width indicator poles and a bonus headlight. A photo-etched screen is provided to cover the one-piece slide-molded turret, plus theres a photo-etched gun shield for the movable weapons. The distinctive stowage box doors on the hull sides are designed as separate parts, allowing modelers to display them either open or closed.
