This MAN TGE was purchased as a half-bus for various specialised groups of the THW. The bumpers of the vehicle have been left in grey, as otherwise the sensors required for a 4-tonne vehicle would not function reliably. In keeping with the prototype, the Herpa model has a warning light bar at the front and an all-round light at the rear.
