With its fuel efficiency and the resulting long range of up to 17,000 kilometres, the ultra-modern Airbus A350-1000 has opened up new routes for Etihad Airways. Nine of the 74-metre-long aircraft are already in the fleet, with a further 18 aircraft to follow to further expand Etihad's network from Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi to far-flung destinations around the world. In comparison to the first edition, this new version not only has a new registration - A6-XWC - but also additional lettering on the nose.
