The development of the airborne troops and their special equipment is presented. The booklet begins with the development of the paratroopers before World War II and reports on their operations and development - arranged by country - up to the present day. A main focus is on armament and equipment from man carried material to air transportable vehicles and heavy equipment. The focus is on German, British and American units, but countries such as Russia, France and Italy are also covered, as are the parties to the conflict in the Middle East. For the first time, re-enactment groups and vehicle clubs are also included in the presentation.
