The "Brandenburgers" were intended as a German commando force, just as the British, for example, later set up their Long Range Desert Group for the same tasks. This volume, richly illustrated with hitherto unpublished photographs, documents the operations of the coastal fighter section of the "Brandenburgers", which operated mainly in the Mediterranean.
