A wide variety of development projects and tank combat vehicle types are presented. Besides the "Maus", the lesser known "E 100" and the spectacular projects IX and X with their turtle-like armour are described. Furthermore, the "Bär" and the "Löwe" are dealt with, as well as the Krupp tank projects "P1000" and "P1500". In addition to side views and sectional sketches, the different types are clearly illustrated with a large number of previously unknown photographs.
