In the style of a weapons arsenal booklet, the development, technical details and use of the heavy assault gun "Ferdinand" (also called "Elefant") of the German Wehrmacht are shown. The majority of the photographs shown are of vehicles shot down on the Eastern Front in July and August 1943 or captured by the Red Army. However, the use after the "Zitadelle" enterprise is also covered.
