The REFORGER exercises of 1977 were part of a whole series of multinational manoeuvres involving the Bundeswehr, the U.S. Army and British forces in Germany. The booklet shows in words and pictures the vehicles used by the German, American and British armies in the REFORGER manoeuvres as well as in the large-scale combat exercise "Carbon Edge". The text explains the structure of the exercises, the forces deployed and the course of the simulated combat operations.
