From 2007 to 2014, the Danish Army's 'Leopard' 2A5 main battle tanks served as a contribution to the NATO mission in Afghanistan (ISAF). The aim of this work is to tell the story of the Danish armoured soldiers and their vehicles in the Afghan province of Helmand. The accounts and operational experiences presented here come directly from the Danish soldiers who have served in Afghanistan. This gives the reader some very personal impressions of the experiences of the Danish soldiers in Afghanistan.
The main battle tanks "Leopard" 2A5 were intended to directly support the Danish infantry in their operations in the dangerous Helmand province. The rich and very good picture material offers a good impression of the equipment of the vehicles during current missions. Very interesting for modellers and vehicle enthusiasts.
