The Triple Seven is the most widely built wide-body aircraft in history and remains an integral part of many major airlines worldwide today. The 777 was Boeing's first passenger aircraft to be designed using digital software and the first to be equipped with fly-by-wire controls. These innovations were driven and implemented by a leadership and management system called Working Together. In creating this work, author Dan Dornseif benefited from the collaboration of many individuals directly involved in the development and operation of the aircraft, including Alan Mulally, who served as Director of Engineering and General Manager of the 777 project at Boeing. This book is aimed at both experts and laymen and contains more than 400 photos and diagrams.
