This album honours Polish pilots who fought in the West during the Second World War. The Polish version was published by IPN in 2020. Due to the great interest of the West in the history of Polish pilots who fought for the Allies during World War II, the IPN publishing house has prepared an English edition of the album. The album itself is the result of almost thirty years of artistic work by Piotr Górka. It contains images of his oil paintings depicting the history of the Polish Air Force in the West during the Second World War. Each painting is followed by a separate chapter describing the air battles depicted and the history of the artwork itself.
