The Lockheed C-130 "Hercules" is undoubtedly one of the most famous and versatile military aircraft in the world. It is still in production today - more than 60 years after its first flight! Numerous special versions developed from the basic variant, some of them taking on extremely spectacular special tasks, mostly in military use. But civilian versions were also built, such as Arctic versions or fire-fighting aircraft. The German Air Force is now also taking six C-130J "Super Hercules" into its arsenal.
