The Marder infantry fighting vehicle enabled the Panzergrenadiers to keep pace with the Leopard 1. Over the past decades, several versions of the Marder were built, which were also used during the KFOR missions in the Balkans and Afghanistan - reason enough to reissue this standard work on the most widely built Bundeswehr armoured infantry fighting vehicle, expanded to include the most important developments of recent years, in particular the German support deliveries for the Ukraine. Thanks to his excellent connections, Lohmann gained an insight into the training of the Ukrainian crews and, where available, also received insider information on the missions.
