The Junkers Ju 87 - better known as the "Stuka" (for dive bomber) - is probably one of the best known aircraft of the Second World War and is still the most successful model of this type. The machine with the unmistakable bent wings and the characteristic dive siren was used throughout the war and in almost all theatres of war and was very effective, especially in the first years of operation. Almost 6000 aircraft left Junkers production by 1944.
This volume, with its countless details and contemporary photographs, is undoubtedly the best book currently available on the Stuka.
