This limited edition publication is a carefully printed book in Japanese (!) dedicated to the original colours of WW II, written by experts in the field: Maciej Góralczyk, Gerald T. Högl, Jürgen Kiroff, Nicholas Millman and Mikhail V. Orlov. The book focuses on the main warring parties of the conflict: Germany, the United States, Great Britain and the Soviet Union. It is a comprehensive guide to the colours and camouflage paints of World War 2 aircraft, presented in over 200 pages and illustrated with colour profiles, documents and dozens of bw and colour photographs, many of which are very rare. Included, for example, is the latest information on the colours of the German Luftwaffe from the final phase of the war, based on the original colour samples of the manufacturing companies of the time. For the first time, the results of the research of Mikhail V. Orlov's research into the colours of the Soviet Air Force are presented to non-Russian readers for the first time. Nicholas Millman's archival research provides the reader with an accurate description and reproduction of the colours used by the U.S. Army Air Forve, the U.S. Navy and the Royal Air Force or Fleet Air Arms.
