Presented are various models of American, Japanese and British World War II torpedo bombers that took off from aircraft carriers on their dangerous missions. The models presented are in 1/72nd and 1/48th scale and include legendary aircraft such as the British "Swordfish" torpedo bomber, the American Douglas TBD-1 "Devastator" and Douglas TBF/1C and TBM-3 "Avenger". Furthermore, there is detailed modelling information on the Fairey "Albacore" Mk. II and Fairey "Barracuda" Mk. II aircraft. Of course, the torpedo aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Naval Air Forces are also given ample space in the book.
The kits, the development process leading to the finished model as well as additional detailing sets and decals are also presented or listed.
