The first part includes potted histories of some 30 manufacturers, ranging from AEC to F.L. Douglas (Equipment), and includes, for example, such well-known manufacturers as Albion, Austin, Bedford, Commer, Crossley, Diamond T and Dodge, as well as including manufacturers with which you are perhaps less familiar.
There is a comprehensive tabulated listing of the vehicles produced by each of the manufacturers, which includes the model identifier and typical nomenclature, and gives basic technical details. And finally, there are a dozen or so more-detailed "featured vehicles" scattered through the text.
