Description
Each title in the series is 98 pages long, expertly written and comprehensively illustrated. The format allows the vehicles to be explored in more depth than would normally be possible in a magazine, without the formality normally associated with a book. The first publications in the series describe the armoured personnel carriers used by the British Army since 1932. Subsequently, the military products of AEC, Bedford and Thornycroft are presented, as well as British artillery tractors and the innovative indigenous military vehicles of the 1950s. The contents: AEC; Albion; Armstrong Siddeley Pavesi; Automotive Technik Pinzgauer; Bedford and Vauxhall; Foden; Fordson Thames; General Dynamics Land Systems; Guy Motors; Karrier Motors; Land Rover; Leyland Motors; Mack Trucks; Morris Commercial; Reynoulds Broughton; Scammell Lorries; Thornycroft.
