A reference book on the twin-engine destroyer aircraft of the Axis and Allies in the Second World War. The "destroyers", including aircraft such as the Messerschmitt Bf 110, Me 210, De Havilland "Mosquito" or Northrop P-61 "Black Widow", were used for a wide variety of missions. Day and night fighter missions were just as much a part of their repertoire as attacks on ground targets, combat against ships or reconnaissance missions.
